SPECIAL TASK FORCE

Special Task Force for Ladakh
 
 The Special Task Force constituted for Ladakh Region by GOI has recommended 52 various short term projects amounting Rs. 226.51 Crores for immediate implementation in Kargil district. Besides, number of projects has been identified/recommended for consideration in subsequent phases and anumber of projects of medium to Long term (projects and issues) has been identified for consideration of various Union Ministers.

However an amount of Rs.50.00 Crores has been released by the Govt. for implementation of 31 short term projects during 2011-12 and equal amount is required for completion of these projects during 2012-13

 

The time Schedule for completion of the approved schemes under aforesaid programme is two years.
